Hamas militants are expected to release all hostages in the first half of next week. At the same time, a final agreement on Gaza is planned to be signed in Egypt, said US President Donald Trump during a Cabinet meeting.

"We are getting the hostages back on Tuesday, Monday or Tuesday, and that'll be a day of joy," Trump said.

According to him, the release of hostages is a complex process, and he prefers not to reveal what needs to be done to secure their freedom.

"We're going to go to Egypt, where we will have a signing, an additional signing, and we've already had a signing," the US President said.

He also pointed out that Middle Eastern countries, from Qatar to Saudi Arabia and the UAE, have all come together.

The President clarified that the Gaza Strip will be rebuilt.

"You have tremendous wealth in that part of the world by certain countries, and just a small part of that will do wonders for Gaza," Trump said.

Gaza agreement

On the night of October 9, US President Donald Trump announced that Israel and Hamas had signed the first phase of the American peace plan.

According to the US leader, Hamas has effectively agreed to release all hostages, while Israel will withdraw its soldiers to an agreed line.

Against this backdrop, media reports emerged that a full peace agreement is expected to be signed in Egypt.

Additionally, on October 8, Trump announced his upcoming trip to the Middle East. The President said the visit is likely to take place on Sunday, October 12.
