Trump representatives may visit Kyiv in coming days - Zelenskyy

US President Donald Trump’s representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner could visit Kyiv in the coming days, according to a statement by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The president spoke about the results of a meeting with the team handling negotiations with representatives of US President Donald Trump. Zelenskyy emphasized that communication is taking place 24/7 as preparations for the meetings continue.
"There are preliminary dates. We expect to see representatives of the American president here in Kyiv. We have confirmation from them: there will be a meeting in Moscow and in Kyiv. We expect the meeting to take place in the coming days," Zelenskyy said.
He stressed the importance of "America remaining active" in the process.
Earlier today, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia and Ukraine should negotiate an end to the war on their own. According to him, other countries should only provide assistance.
RBC-Ukraine previously reported that Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner’s planned visit to Ukraine had been postponed.
The media reported that the trip had not been canceled, but its timing was changed amid an intensification of Russian missile and drone strikes on Kyiv.
