Trump reappoints Kellogg as special envoy for Ukraine

US President Donald Trump has announced that he has appointed General Keith Kellogg as Special Envoy to Ukraine. He will now communicate directly with the Ukrainian leadership.
"I am pleased to inform you that General Keith Kellogg has been appointed Special Envoy to Ukraine. General Kellogg, a Highly Respected Military Expert, will deal directly with President Zelenskyy and Ukrainian leadership," the statement reads.
Trump noted that Kellogg is well acquainted with Ukraine's leadership, and there are very good working relations between the two sides.
"Congratulations to General Kellogg!" he concluded.
As a reminder, Keith Kellogg, as Trump's Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia, was involved in efforts to end the war. However, recently, media reports surfaced suggesting that he was removed from participation in high-level negotiations to end the war. The reason was Moscow's dissatisfaction with his pro-Ukrainian stance.
