Trump makes new statement on Russian drone incursion into Poland

Russian leader Vladimir Putin must not approach Poland in the context of his drone and missile attacks, said US President Donald Trump.
Trump was asked what he plans to do about Putin, given that Russian drones have entered Poland. In particular, whether sanctions could be imposed.
"I'm not going to defend anybody. They (drones - ed.) were actually knocked down. But he shouldn't be close to Poland anyway," Trump said.
Drone attack on Poland
On the night of September 10, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine, using both strike drones and missiles.
However, the attack was unusual — part of the drones violated Polish airspace.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that 19 drones were spotted in Polish airspace overnight, with only 4 of them shot down.
Die Welt and Spiegel, citing sources, reported that the drones were approaching a NATO military base in Poland through which Western military aid is delivered to Ukraine.
