US President Donald Trump has once again lashed out at Democrat Kamala Harris on Truth Social. He claimed that his opponent allegedly paid celebrities during the 2024 election.

Trump claims that Harris paid $11 million to singer Beyoncé, $3 million to TV presenter Oprah Winfrey, and $600,000 to civil rights activist Al Sharpton.

"YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PAY FOR AN ENDORSEMENT. IT IS TOTALLY ILLEGAL TO DO SO. Can you imagine what would happen if politicians started paying for people to endorse them. All hell would break out!," he wrote.

The US president called for Harris and the stars who allegedly received money to be held accountable.

Trump has made similar accusations before, both this year and at the end of last year.

Oprah previously stated that she did not receive a penny for participating in the broadcast with Harris. However, the costs of producing the broadcast were covered by the election campaign. Harris' campaign also denied that Beyoncé received money specifically for her support.

Trump defeated Harris in US election

The US election took place on November 4, 2024. Initially, the main candidates for president were Donald Trump and former President Joe Biden. However, the latter withdrew from the race after an unsuccessful debate with Trump.

The Democrats nominated another candidate, Kamala Harris, who was then the US vice president.

Trump won the election, and the Republican Party gained a majority in the House of Representatives. Trump's inauguration took place on January 20, 2025.

This is Donald Trump's second presidential term. The US Constitution prohibits anyone from becoming president for a third time. But Trump believes he will still be able to run again. His official store has already started selling merchandise with the slogan Trump 2028.
