When asked by a journalist about the possible restoration of sanctions against Russia, Donald Trump said the matter is being considered.
"We are looking at that. We are seeing how far the price of oil comes down. It's really tumbling…It's soon going to be at the number that it was four months ago. It's pretty amazing," Trump said.

Trump has repeatedly commented on Russia’s war against Ukraine, distributing responsibility for its outbreak among different sides and criticizing the policies of the previous US administration.
In particular, he previously stated that the conflict could have been avoided under different political decisions in Washington and emphasized the need for a quick end to hostilities and reaching agreements to stop the war.
On June 17, during a conversation with journalists, he was asked whether he believes the Russian President bears the greatest responsibility for the war against Ukraine.
However, the politician chose to avoid making a direct accusation.
"Well, I don't want to comment on that because I'm trying to get it settled and that doesn't make it easy," he explained.
