Trump criticizes 60 Minutes after Zelenskyy's interview

On Truth Social, US President Donald Trump criticized the 60 Minutes program, which showed two stories about Ukraine and Greenland.
In his post, Trump said that CBS was allegedly out of control and must pay a heavy price for persecuting the president.
“Almost every week, 60 Minutes, which is being sued for Billions of Dollars for the fraud they committed in the 2024 Presidential Election with their Interview of Failed Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris, mentions the name "TRUMP" in a derogatory and defamatory way, but this Weekend's "BROADCAST" tops them all,” the White House chief wrote.
The US President called on Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Carr to impose maximum fines and punish the channel for their illegal and unlawful behavior.
CBS has not yet commented on the President's words.
What preceded it
Shortly before Trump's post, CBS aired two stories, one about Greenland and the other an interview with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
In the interview, Zelenskyy said that he hated Russian dictator Vladimir Putin 100%. He also said that the US has pro-Russian views on the war in Ukraine.
In a story about Greenland, correspondent John Wertheim said that some people in the country talk about Trump's desire to take power into his own hands.
According to AP, Trump previously filed a $20 billion lawsuit against 60 Minutes over an interview with Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris last fall. According to Trump, the interview was edited to show Harris in a favorable light.
Representatives of the program denied this. But the media continue to report that Trump's lawyers and the CBS parent company are involved in settlement talks.
