Trump confused Erdogan and Orban, calling Hungary's PM leader of Türkiye
Former U.S. President Donald Trump, during his pre-election speech, mistakenly referred to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban as the "leader of Turkey," confusing him with the current president of that country, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, according to Politico.
"There’s a man, Viktor Orbán, did anyone ever hear of him? He’s probably, like, one of the strongest leaders anywhere in the world. He’s the leader of Turkey," Trump said, referring to the Hungarian prime minister.
He also mentioned that Orban has a "front" with Russia, despite the fact that neither Türkiye nor Hungary shares a border with Russia.

Trump aims to become speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives
Following the announcement by Republican Matt Gaetz, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to remove Speaker Kevin McCarthy from his position. The decision received support from 216 members, including 8 Republicans and 208 Democrats, while 210 Republicans voted against it.
Currently, the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives remains vacant, with Republican Patrick McHenry temporarily taking on the role.
However, Politico reported that Trump might take over McCarthy's post. It has been noted that a final decision has not yet been made, and the Republican Party will convene in full on Tuesday for a candidates' forum.
Later, Trump stated that he would supposedly agree to become the Speaker of the House of Representatives for a short term.
