US President Donald Trump, in an interview with Fox News, once again claimed that the Russian Federation stole the plan for creating hypersonic missiles from the United States during the Obama administration.

During the conversation with the journalist, Trump stated that "Russia stole the design; they got it from us."

"Russia stole the design; they got it from us. Some bad person gave it to them... They stole them during the Obama administration, Obama, not Biden. They probably slote plenty of Biden, we will hear about that too," Trump said.

He also stated that the United States would have ultra-hypersonic missiles "that are even a step better" and that they would be launched soon.

It’s worth noting that Trump has made similar claims in the past. For instance, in 2023, he told supporters that Russia had stolen plans for "super-duper missiles." At the time, the Kremlin responded to these statements by saying, "We have our own rocket, an excellent rocket."

Trump’s statements

Let us recall that earlier, Trump expressed hope for China’s support in ending the war between Ukraine and Russia. According to him, by combining efforts, the war could be stopped.

At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that Chinese leader Xi Jinping could push Russian dictator Vladimir Putin toward peace, as, according to him, Russia’s economy is highly dependent on China.
