US President Donald Trump abruptly cut off communication with the press and left after a question about the defeat of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in parliamentary elections. A video was published by a journalist of Radio RMF FM in the US.
During the communication with the press, Trump was asked about the results of the elections in Hungary, which showed the defeat of Orbán, whom the US president had previously supported.
In response, Trump limited himself to a brief thanks to journalists and immediately ended the conversation without commenting on the situation. He turned around and walked toward the plane.
"Donald Trump walks away as reporters ask him about Viktor Orbán and the elections in Hungary," the journalist reported.
Donald Trump odchodzi, gdy reporterzy pytają go o Viktora Orbana i wybory na Węgrzech. Wcześniej mówił o papieżu, NATO, Iranie. Wyborów na Węgrzech nie chciał skomentować. Trump wspierał w kampanii Orbana. Na Węgry wysłał nawet wiceprezydenta USA. @RMF24pl , @Radio_RMF24 pic.twitter.com/sAqp7FvlmL

Elections in Hungary
US President Donald Trump, over the past six months, has repeatedly publicly supported Orbán and promised economic assistance to Hungary.
Moreover, US Vice President JD Vance visited Budapest on April 7, where he held a meeting with Viktor Orbán in support of his re-election.
However, in the parliamentary elections, the opposition Tisza party led by Péter Magyar won.
According to polls and preliminary results, the political force received about 57% of the vote, while Orbán's Fidesz party received about 37%.
After counting 99% of the votes, Tisza won 138 seats in parliament, and Fidesz won 55, which gives the opposition more than two-thirds of the mandates and effective control over power.
Orbán himself, who had led the government for about 16 years, has already acknowledged his defeat.
