Trump arrives in Alaska for talks with Putin

US President Donald Trump arrived at a military base in the city of Anchorage, Alaska, where he will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Sky News reports.
According to the outlet, Trump's plane, Air Force One, landed at the Elmendorf-Richardson military base in Alaska.
Thus, Trump arrived at the meeting location earlier than Putin.

According to an official White House announcement, the Trump–Putin meeting is scheduled for 22:00 Kyiv time.
Earlier, NBC News, citing its own sources, reported that Trump is to meet Putin in person after his arrival at the US Elmendorf-Richardson military base.
According to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, the Trump–Putin meeting is expected to last at least 6–7 hours. He specified that this will be the total duration of meetings in various formats.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed hope that such a summit would open the way to an honest peace and to a trilateral meeting with his participation.
