As early as Tuesday, June 30, the US President’s team and representatives of the Iranian regime will hold urgent talks, according to Donald Trump.

According to Trump, it was the Iranian government that requested the talks.

Donald Trump confirms that he agreed to this proposal. He also specifies that the meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30.

Representatives of the US President and the Iranian regime plan to meet in Doha (Qatar).

"Iran has requested a meeting. It will take place tomorrow in Doha!" Donald Trump writes.

Tehran calls on the US to engage in negotiations amid a new escalation in the Middle East. On June 28, US troops attacked Iranian targets in the Strait of Hormuz.

These strikes were in response to Iran’s attack on a commercial tanker, which occurred on the morning of June 27.

Despite this new wave of escalation, commercial vessels continue to transit the Strait of Hormuz. The US military remains on full combat alert.

The situation in the Middle East has escalated again following an attack on a civilian vessel on Thursday, June 25. The attack took place on a route opened under a framework agreement between Washington and Tehran.

Shortly thereafter, Donald Trump confirmed the attack. According to him, Iran’s latest provocations can be considered a violation of the ceasefire agreements.

Against the backdrop of recent events, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced attacks on US targets in the region.
