On the night of June 27, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced strikes on US targets in the Middle East. The statement said the action was a response to US attacks, according to The Times of Israel.

However, the United States, by provoking various fronts, sought to violate this commitment (ceasefire - ed.), and the necessary response was given and will continue to be given," the statement said.
It was also added that if the attacks are repeated, Iran’s response will be more extensive.

"Iran signed a ceasefire agreement. We have honored it. If they have disagreements about how the MOU is being applied, they can pick up the phone. But violence will be met with violence," he wrote on the social media platform X.
