Trump and Netanyahu confer following massive US hit on Iran

US President Donald Trump held a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu amid the US joining Israel’s operation in Iran, according to CNN.
The two leaders discussed the strikes the US carried out on Iranian targets. Neither the Israeli Prime Minister’s office nor the White House has disclosed details of the talks so far.
Strikes on Iran
Israel launched Operation Rising Lion on the night of June 13. The IDF struck Iranian military and nuclear sites and has continued these operations.
Dozens of top Iranian commanders and nuclear physicists involved in the country’s nuclear program have been eliminated. Israel warned it will not stop until its goals are achieved.
On the night of June 22, the US also carried out strikes on Iranian targets. President Donald Trump personally confirmed the attacks, stating that the Fordow facility has ceased to exist.
Recently, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said the IDF will continue the operation, emphasizing that the ayatollah cannot continue to exist if all their objectives are to be met.
Amid Israel’s operation, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, named three high-ranking clerics who would succeed him in case of his elimination.
At the same time, Israeli citizens were warned about heightened security measures due to threats from Iran.
