Trucks and buses blocked at Ukraine-Poland checkpoint - Ukrainian Border Guard Service
The passage of trucks and buses will be suspended at the Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint on the border between Ukraine and Poland, according to the State Border Guard Service.
"Attention, according to information from Polish border guards, the passage of trucks and buses will be completely suspended until approximately 8:00 PM," the statement said.
In addition, border guards announced that protest participants in Poland would also not allow passenger cars to pass. However, for this category of vehicles, there is the possibility of bypassing the protesters on the adjacent side.
"We ask citizens to take this information into account when planning trips across the border," the border guards wrote.
Recall that this morning, Polish protesters began blocking the movement of buses at the Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint. Bus traffic restrictions started around 11:10 AM.
Border blockade
Recall that in February, protests at the Polish-Ukrainian border resumed. Farmers are blocking checkpoints, and recently, they have begun to dump Ukrainian grain.
According to Polish media reports, the Polish government has agreed with farmers to temporarily close the border with Ukraine for the transit of certain agricultural products.
However, today in Poland, there is a massive protest by farmers demanding the implementation of their conditions regarding the "green course" and restrictions on Ukrainian products.
