Triton Submarines introduces new vessel for tourist cruises
Triton Submarine, which develops and manufactures luxury submarines for exploration and other purposes, has unveiled its latest underwater craft, the Triton 660/9 AVA, designed for tourist cruises. The unique design of this vessel resembles an elongated transparent bubble, allowing passengers to enjoy panoramic views of the underwater world.

The model name Triton 660/9 AVA encodes the characteristics of the submarine: capacity (9 persons), maximum diving depth (660 feet or 200 meters), and the hull manufacturing technology - Advanced Versatile Acrylics (AVA).
This capsule is an addition to cruise surface liners and can be equipped with a cocktail bar, game club, and even spa treatments. Passengers can relax and engage in activities while enjoying views of underwater nature. However, the capsule does not include restroom facilities, so customers must arrange this in advance.

The submarine has successfully passed all tests and received the necessary certification. Triton Submarines delivered the first capsule to the tourism company Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, Scenic Neptune II. It will be installed on board the Scenic Eclipse II liner, from where it will descend into the sea during voyages.
The liner has arrived in Australia and will cruise along the continent's coastline, as well as in Indonesia, New Zealand, the southern Pacific Ocean, and the area around East Antarctica over the next two years. The underwater craft can autonomously operate for up to 12 hours and reach speeds of up to 5.5 kilometers per hour.
