On July 15, Kerch and several districts in occupied Crimea were left without power following a new attack by the Ukrainian Defense Forces, according to the Astra Telegram channel.
“Unfortunately, as a result of an enemy UAV attack, Kerch is completely without power. Life-support facilities are operating thanks to backup power sources. All municipal services are involved in emergency repair and restoration work,” said Ivan Koshel, the Kremlin’s representative in the city.
Krymenergo added that as a result of drone attacks on power supply facilities, some settlements in the peninsula’s Northwest and East power districts were left without power.
Officials assured residents that they are currently doing everything possible to restore power.
As of the morning of July 15, power restrictions are in effect throughout Crimea.
“Power outages will occur depending on the situation in the power districts. Under the current circumstances, it is impossible to inform the public of the time when power will be restored,” Krymenergo added.
The Water of Crimea enterprise officially confirmed that, as a result of the accident on Krymenergo’s networks, water pressure has dropped in nine districts of the occupied peninsula.
As RBC-Ukraine previously reported, Madyar explained for the first time why Ukraine is no longer attacking the Crimean Bridge.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces also delivered a powerful strike against enemy targets in the Sea of Azov.
Furthermore, SBS troops have begun hunting for Russian vessels in the Black Sea.
