Top 5 most anticipated Apple devices set to release in 2024
The year 2024 promises to be significant for Apple as the company is set to introduce a new product lineup for the first time since 2015. Among the upcoming innovations are the Vision Pro headset, fresh models of the iPad, innovative Apple Watch, and many other intriguing updates, reports MacRumors.
AirPods 4
Apple is set to introduce the new AirPods 4 model. Within the basic AirPods lineup, the release of two variants of earphones is planned. One model will feature active noise cancellation, making them slightly more expensive, while the other model will lack this feature, making them more budget-friendly.
Both variants will include speakers on the case for convenient tracking through the locator and a special hearing test. Upon activation, the iPhone, in conjunction with AirPods, will be able to detect any hearing issues and, if necessary, recommend seeking medical advice.
The AirPods 4 presentation is scheduled for September 2024.

OLED iPad Pro
For a long time, Apple resisted the idea of releasing an iPad with an OLED display despite user demand. However, the iPad Pro 2024 will finally feature an OLED display.
Compared to the current miniLED technology used in the iPad Pro, OLED promises richer black colors, improved contrast, advanced HDR, and more efficient energy consumption. Due to the thinness of OLED screens, the device can free up additional space, allowing for a reduction in thickness or the installation of a larger battery.
The screen sizes in the iPad Pro OLED will also change: 11.1 inches instead of 11 for one model and 13 inches instead of 12.9 for another. The iPad Pro 2024 is expected to be equipped with the M3 processor, providing efficient processing of heavy files and the ability to run console games, which have recently become available for Apple devices.
The release of the tablet with the new OLED display is expected closer to the end of the year, but information about the price remains unknown for now.

Apple Watch X
In 2024, another significant event for Apple will be the tenth anniversary of the Apple Watch, first introduced at a presentation in 2014.
The new model will feature a blood pressure monitoring function and apnea detection. Apple Watch will be able to alert the user to any deviations in blood pressure and advise them to consult a doctor.
Apple Watch 2024 will also bring a global change with a new fastening mechanism for bands. Old bracelets will not be compatible with the new watch due to the use of a magnetic fastening. This change will free up space in the Apple Watch case, which can be used to increase the battery capacity or reduce the device's thickness.

iPhone 16
Year after year, the most anticipated Apple product remains the iPhone, and in 2024, the company will introduce the iPhone 16 model with several significant changes. The screens of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will grow to 6.3 and 6.9 inches, respectively. However, the changes in dimensions will not be as radical as they might seem at first glance. The bezels will also be reduced, but the Dynamic Island technology will remain unchanged.
According to MacRumors, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will feature a 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens. All iPhone 2024 models will receive an additional button located on the body below the lock button, designed exclusively for camera control.
They will inherit the Action Button and a 3nm process chip from the iPhone 15 Pro.

Vision Pro
The Apple Vision Pro VR headset was unveiled at the WWDC 2023 conference, with plans to release it in early 2024. The device will allow users to watch movies, work, and play in virtual reality. Interestingly, the headset itself will have a spatial video recording function that users can view on its screen.
The cost of the Apple Vision Pro is set at $3,500, and the availability of headsets will be limited due to manufacturing complexities.
Purchasing the headset will only be possible in-store after making a reservation. This decision was made to allow Apple staff to assist with fitting and provide information about the VR headset's features.
