Mount Hoverla
The highest peak in Ukraine, which is one of the most famous national symbols. The mountain stands at 2061 meters, and the climb to the summit takes more than 6 hours. A stone monument in the shape of a trident is installed at the top of the mountain.
Additionally, capsules with soil from all regions of Ukraine have been placed at the summit. This destination can be reached from any point in Ukraine. An interesting fact is that thousands of people plan their ascent to the peak on Ukraine's Independence Day.

Mount Brebeneskul
Brebeneskul is the second-highest mountain in Ukraine, at 2032 meters in height. To the west of the summit is a lake of the same name, the highest mountain lake in Ukraine.
Convenient trekking routes exist here that allow you to see many Carpathian landmarks, such as the Dzembron waterfalls or Vukhaty Kamin, as well as two other picturesque mountains, Menchul and Rebra.

Mount Pip Ivan Chornohora
In third place is Mount Pip Ivan Chornohora, which stands at 2028 meters. The mountain is located not far from the Brebeneskul elevation. Here you can enjoy the most beautiful panorama of the entire Chornohora Ridge and its surroundings.
Also, at the summit is the White Elephant observatory, which attracts Ukrainian tourists. The ascent to the mountain can begin from the village of Shybene, with a stop at Lake Maricheyka along the way.

Mount Petros
Petros is considered the most dangerous mountain of the Chornohora, ran and it is also known as the "thunderous peak.It is separated from Hoverla by a deep ravine frequently struck by lightning.
Many legends surround this peak, such as the belief that no structure can survive on it. Climbers usually start their ascent from Lazeshchyna and finish the route in Kvasy.

Mount Hutyn Tomnatyk
Mount Hutyn Tomnatyk is another mountain in the Chornohora range. It stands at 2016 meters and is located near Mount Brebeneskul. It is said that Tomnatyk is closer to Lake Brebeneskul than the mountain of the same name.
The ascent to this mountain takes about 6 hours, and the trail length is 13 kilometers from Rakhiv. Additionally, the mountain can be reached via hiking trails from Mounts Brebeneskul or Rebra.

Mount Rebra
This peak is also located in the Chornohora range. Rare plants listed in the Red Book of Ukraine grow on the summit, such as the mossy saxifrage and the alpine yellow salsify.
At least five hiking trails lead to the mountain, passing through other well-known peaks. You can also start your route from nearby villages like Bystrets or Hoverla.

Mount Menchul
Menchul at 1998 meters, is the peak of the Rozshybennyk mountain range. You can reach the summit from Mount Brebeneskul or bypass it to get to Dzembronia. You can also start your route from the village of Hoverla.

Mount Pip Ivan Marmarosh
Mount Pip Ivan Marmarosh is at 1940 meters and is practically on the Romanian border. Alpine meadows with rare Carpathian plants surround the mountain's summit.
The mountain is located within the Marmarosh range and belongs to the Hutsul Alps. The nearest village to the hill, from which you can start your route, is Dilove.

Mount Turkul
Located within the Chornohora range, near the peak of Rebra, Turkul is very picturesque. The summit is covered in mountain pines, and jagged rocks peek out from the slopes. Nesamovyte Lake and the Kizli tract are nearby.
You can start your route from the villages of Hoverla or Bystrets and the Zaroslyak base near Vorokhta. Most routes cover other peaks of the range.

Mount Breskul
It is located in the Chornohora range between Mounts Hoverla and Pozhyzhevska. Its height is 1911 meters, and its summit is covered with various grasses and shrubs. Hiking routes usually include the nearest mountains to Breskul and typically take no more than two hours.
