The actor had been dealing with health problems for years
Legendary actor Tim Curry has died at the age of 80. Having suffered from health issues for years, he was found by police late Tuesday evening, August 25, at his home in Los Angeles, TMZ reports.
Tim Curry was best known for playing Pennywise the clown in the 1990 adaptation of Stephen King’s It, Mr. Hector in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, and Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

The actor had been dealing with serious health problems for more than 10 years. In 2012, he suffered a stroke.
