Russian forces were blown up by a mine on the Mariupol-Donetsk highway, in the rear of the Russian troops. Three fatalities have been reported, as the advisor to the Mayor of Mariupol Petro Andryushchenko wrote on Telegram.

He posted a video from the site of the explosion.

"The occupiers detonated a high-explosive fragmentation mine in the area of Olenivka on the Mariupol-Donetsk highway. Three casualties," he wrote.

Andryushchenko is questioning how a mine suddenly appeared on the road in the rear, the occupiers are sidestepping this question.

Mariupol is temporarily occupied by Russia, but numerous explosions killing the Russians soldiers are reported on a regular basis. On May 28, 100 occupiers were killed during explosions that occurred near the city. It has seriously frightened the Russians, as there were long traffic jams of trucks and cars towards the border with Russia. The occupiers also significantly stepped up their activity, starting to redeploy old T-62 tanks, air defense systems, and soldiers.
