Three bodies recovered from rubble after June 7 Russian airstrike on Kharkiv, Ukraine

In the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv, a Ukrainian city, two bodies were recovered and another was found under the rubble of a civilian industrial facility. The building was struck by Russian forces on June 7, according to Kharkiv Regional Governor Oleh Syniehubov and Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
"The body of a woman was recovered from the rubble of a civilian industrial facility in Kharkiv's Kyivskyi district, which was attacked by the enemy during the night of June 7," Syniehubov reported.
According to him, the deceased was found in one of the basement rooms of the production building.
Later, Terekhov reported that rescue workers had recovered two bodies from the rubble and discovered another.
"At the site of the terrorist strike on a civilian industrial facility, carried out by the enemy during the night before Saturday, two bodies were recovered and another was found. Work to retrieve the third body is ongoing. The search operation continues," the mayor said.
June 7 strike on Kharkiv
On the evening of June 7, Russian forces launched four strikes using guided aerial bombs targeting the Shevchenkivskyi and Kyivskyi districts of Kharkiv.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a children's railway was hit, while in the Kyivskyi district, private homes were struck. As a result, two railway buildings and four carriages were damaged, along with two private houses and an outbuilding.
Initially, 18 people were reported injured. However, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy later stated that more than 40 people were wounded in Kharkiv. He called the attack by Russia "another barbaric killing."
Earlier reports indicated two fatalities. The first confirmed victim was a 30-year-old woman who had recently been appointed head of the children's railway.
