US President Donald Trump said he believes he has the right to seek another presidential term, arguing that he was "cheated" in the 2020 election, according to CNN.

Statement on a new term
Before departing for Texas, Trump said: "Should we do one more one more term? Well, we’re entitled to it, because they cheated like hell in the second – we would actually be entitled, to think of it."
At the same time, CNN emphasizes that no evidence of widespread fraud in the 2020 election, which was won by Joe Biden, has been presented.
Speech in Texas
The remarks were made during an appearance at the Port of Corpus Christi. The president wore a hat reading "Gulf of America" and walked out to the song "God Bless the USA" by Lee Greenwood.
In his speech, he reviewed the state of affairs in the country and shared a story about an acquaintance who noted improvements in family life thanks to growth in a 401(k) retirement account amid the policies of the Trump administration.
Earlier remarks on a third term
In October last year, Trump dismissed intentions to run for a third term. In November, when asked about a potential 2028 campaign, he said the Republican Party has a "strong bench" unlike the Democrats.
Washington continues to maintain pressure on Moscow and provide military support to Ukraine, while US officials stress that the conflict cannot be resolved solely by force, noting that President Donald Trump's patience regarding a prolonged war is not unlimited.
It is also worth noting that the United States has not yet made a final decision on a possible military strike against Iran, although Washington has expressed dissatisfaction with the pace and results of negotiations over the nuclear program.
