Terrorist attack with knife in Germany: Court issues arrest warrant for suspect
A judge from the Federal Supreme Court of Germany has issued an arrest warrant for a man suspected of a fatal knife attack on individuals in the city of Solingen, reports NTV.
The 26-year-old suspect, a Syrian national, is reported to have discarded his identification documents and provided false information about himself after his arrest.
New details have emerged about the suspect’s identity and behavior following the attack. Issa H., the man who fled the scene of the knife attack last Friday evening, hid in a backyard after the incident.
It is believed that during his escape, he disposed of a bloodstained jacket and his identification documents. The police discovered these items and were able to identify him in advance.

On Saturday, August 24, the assailant surrendered to the police. Authorities have identified him as Issa al H., a Syrian who arrived in Germany at the end of 2022.
