Tavria front update: Over 300 Russians and 91 equipment units destroyed

Over the past 24 hours, on January 24, Ukrainian troops eliminated 343 Russian occupiers and destroyed 91 units of enemy military equipment, according to the Joint Press Center of the Tavria Defense Forces.
During the day, the enemy:
- carried out 32 air strikes;
- conducted 24 combat engagements;
- made 905 artillery attacks.
Avdiivka direction
Ukrainian troops repelled 4 enemy attacks in the area of Avdiivka and another 8 attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
Maryinka direction
The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold back the occupiers near Heorhiivka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where they repelled 9 attacks.
Shakhtarsk direction
2 enemy attacks were repelled south of Zolota Nyva and east of Staromayorske in the Donetsk region.
Zaporizhzhia direction
The Ukrainian military repelled an enemy attack near Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.
Achievements of Ukrainian soldiers
Enemy losses in manpower amounted to 343 Russians. Our military also destroyed 91 pieces of enemy equipment, not including UAVs. In particular:
- 18 tanks;
- 27 armored personnel carriers;
- 28 artillery systems;
- 1 ATGM;
- 1 air defense system;
- 14 vehicles;
- 2 units of special equipment.
"The Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 1 ammunition depot and 3 other important Russian targets. 242 UAVs of various types were neutralized or destroyed," the press service adds.
Russia's losses in war against Ukraine
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, January 24, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated another 950 occupiers. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost 379,610 military personnel.
