Tavria front update: Equipment and over 600 Russians destroyed

Ukrainian troops eliminated over 600 Russians in the Tavria direction over the last day. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed 19 pieces of enemy military equipment, according to the Joint Press Center of the Tavria Defense Forces.
In total, Russian troops carried out 4 air strikes in the Tavria direction, engaged in 82 combat engagements, and fired 934 artillery rounds.
In the area of responsibility of the Tavria Operational Strategic Group of troops in the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who keeps trying to encircle Avdiivka. Ukrainian soldiers steadfastly hold the line, inflicting significant losses on the occupiers.
Thus, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled 29 enemy attacks east of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, and Avdiivka and another 28 attacks south of Severne, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
In the Maryinka direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding back the Russians in the areas of Novomykhailivka and Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region. Our defenders repelled 19 attacks there.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled 6 enemy attacks near Robotyne and west of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region.
At the same time, in the Melitopol direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, depleting the enemy along the entire front line.
Russia's losses
Total enemy losses amounted to 637 people.
Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed 19 units of Russia's military equipment, including:
- 2 tanks;
- 8 armored personnel carriers;
- 8 UAVs;
- 1 unit of special equipment.
In addition, another 18 units of enemy equipment were damaged.
The situation at the frontline
According to the General Staff, Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold the line near Avdiivka and occupy positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region. Over the past day, there were 120 combat engagements.
In particular, according to a report by the Institute for the Study of War, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to conduct offensive and defensive operations. The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled at least 51 Russian attacks in the Avdiivka direction. Ukrainian forces also continue to hold positions on the left bank of the Kherson region.
Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Thursday morning, December 14, amounted to 1,300 occupants, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion to 342,800. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 10 tanks, 33 UAVs, and 22 armored personnel carriers.
