As part of efforts to reduce Russia's military and economic potential, units of Ukraine's Defense Forces struck a number of high-value enemy targets, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Tankers hit in the Black Sea

Three tankers were struck in the Black Sea, according to the Ukrainian side. The vessels are reportedly used to transport Russian oil, petroleum products, and fuel for the benefit of Russia's armed forces.

Strike on logistics infrastructure

Ukrainian forces also hit a railway bridge over the Kalmius River near Staromariivka in the Donetsk region. According to the Defense Forces, Russian troops use the bridge to move personnel, weapons, military equipment, and logistical supplies.

Air defense assets and command posts targeted

During the operation, Ukrainian forces struck a Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile system, two Nobo-SV radio stations, as well as Nebo-U, Kasta-2E2, and Gamma-S1M radar systems that form part of Russia's air defense and surveillance network.

In addition, strikes were carried out against drone command posts in the areas of Belaya Beryozka in Russia's Bryansk region, Naumovka in Russia's Belgorod region, and Vilne Pole in the Donetsk region.

Operation continues

Areas where Russian troops were concentrated near Bohatyr and Novoukrainka in the Donetsk region were also targeted.

Ukraine's Defense Forces emphasized that they will continue conducting systematic operations aimed at reducing the combat capabilities of the Russian military and countering Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine.

Meanwhile, reports circulated online in recent days claiming that Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi could be dismissed. However, the General Staff denied the claims, stating that such rumors are false.
