Russian invaders have suffered record losses since the beginning of the year. According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi on Telegram, these losses have surpassed 140,000 personnel.

"Attempts by the occupiers to break through our defense have resulted in record losses for the Russian invaders," the statement reads.

Since the beginning of the year, the total enemy losses in personnel have exceeded 140,000 (140,650).

Syrskyi thanked the soldiers for their resilience and accuracy.

Situation on the front

As of the morning of April 12, Russian forces continued heavy strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements. However, the Defense Forces hit 11 areas of enemy troops and equipment concentration, destroying one artillery system and two enemy air defense systems. On the most challenging Pokrovsk direction, the enemy launched 40 attacks.

According to the General Staff as of the evening of April 11, 347 occupiers were neutralized on the Pokrovsk direction, 105 of whom were killed. Ukrainian forces destroyed one armored fighting vehicle, two artillery systems, 17 vehicles, three units of special equipment, an electronic warfare system, and a UAV control point; they also damaged three artillery systems and three vehicles.

Occupiers' losses

As a reminder, from April 11 to 12, the Russian army lost 1,240 soldiers, two multiple rocket launch systems, and about 50 artillery systems in the war in Ukraine.
