A drone attack on a measuring station in Russia has halted oil transportation to Hungary. Budapest called it an attack on its sovereignty, states Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, according to Ujszo.

The Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade stated that due to a nighttime drone strike on a measuring station of the Druzhba oil pipeline, oil transportation to the country has been temporarily halted.

According to him, he had a phone conversation with the Russian Deputy Prime Minister, who informed him that transportation is currently impossible, but repair work is underway. It is expected that transit may resume late in the evening if no new incidents occur.

The minister also emphasized that if Druzhba ceases operations, oil supplies to Hungary and Slovakia will become physically impossible. Hungary considers this incident an "attack on its sovereignty."

"We urge the Ukrainians not to attack energy infrastructure that supplies Hungary," he said.

Additionally, explosions occurred near the Stalnoy Kon dispatch station in Russia’s Oryol region, which manages technological processes of the Druzhba pipeline and plays a key role in supplying oil to the Ust-Luga seaport in the Leningrad region.

At the same time, according to open sources, Russian air defense struck several civilian targets.
