Explosions were reported in Dnipro, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia. Sounds of detonations were also heard in Kyiv, likely caused by the Mach cone, the shockwave produced by a Kinzhal missile traveling at hypersonic speed.

Similar outages were introduced in the Sumy region, while Kharkivoblenergo also confirmed emergency shutdowns "to prevent overloading the power grid after the strikes."
