In addition, reports indicated a ballistic missile threat in the Kharkiv region.

At 01:36 AM Kyiv time, Kharkiv regional governor Oleh Synehubov clarified:

"A series of explosions has occurred in Kharkiv. Preliminary data suggest the enemy carried out missile strikes. No reports of casualties have been received so far. More details are being verified," the official wrote.

Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov added at 01:40 AM Kyiv time that the explosions heard in the city actually occurred outside Kharkiv.

At this time, information regarding casualties, damage, and the exact number of strikes is still being clarified. Residents reported air raid alerts and sirens, while security forces are assessing the aftermath and ensuring civilian safety.

Authorities urged residents to follow safety guidelines and monitor official updates from the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On the evening of November 7, Russian forces attacked the village of Korotych in the Pisochyn community of the Kharkiv district with aerial bombs. The strike damaged a gas station and several vehicles.
