Explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Crimea on the night of June 25. The airfield in Dzhankoi may have been targeted, according to Crimean Wind.

"Preliminarily, there was a strike on the airfield in Dzhankoi, according to subscribers. The consequences are not yet known," the message says.

Earlier, Crimean Wind reported explosions in several parts of the occupied peninsula. Social media users also mentioned that Russian air defense systems were allegedly active against drones.

There were loud sounds reported in multiple areas of Crimea, in Dzhankoi and its surroundings, as well as in Kerch and near Cape Chauda.

Attacks on Crimea

Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) carried out a third attack on the Crimean Bridge. Special forces detonated explosives beneath the bridge’s supports underwater.

According to SBU head Vasyl Malyuk, key bridge supports were struck twice. The operation used two explosive charges of 1,100 kg each.

Previously, the SBU attacked the Crimean Bridge both from land and water. The first incident occurred in 2022, when the SBU used a vehicle to transport explosives onto the illegally built structure.

The second attack took place in 2023, when two of the SBU’s Sea Baby combat drones struck the bridge.
