The first satellite image of the Belbek airfield, seized by Russians in Crimea, has been released after a recent missile attack. The image by DeepState shows the consequences of the strikes.

The first satellite image, taken before the missile strikes, shows a building. The same building is completely destroyed in another image, taken after the missile strike was reported.

As DeepState noted, according to preliminary information, a Russian command post was hit.

On January 31, explosions were heard repeatedly in Crimea. Local Telegram channels published photos and videos showing traces of missiles in the sky and a smoke column near the Belbek airfield in Sevastopol. At the same time, the Russians claimed that the temporarily occupied Crimea was allegedly attacked with dozens of missiles.

Later, the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk, hinted at a strike on the Belbek airfield. On February 1, Russian media reported that a communications center at the Belbek airfield in Sevastopol could have been attacked.

According to the Air Force spokesperson Yurii Ihnat, certain objects were hit at the Belbek airfield, including at least three enemy aircraft. In addition, there was information in the Crimean media that Russian General Aleksandr Tatarenko was killed during the attack on the airfield.
