The Russian Federation has launched an attack on Selydove in the Donetsk region. As a result, there are injuries and casualties, according to the State Emergency Service (SES).

"Today, the enemy delivered another insidious strike on the residential sector of Selydove in the Pokrovsk district. As a result of the shelling, local residents suffered injuries," the statement said.

Rescuers who promptly arrived at the shelling site provided first aid to two wounded individuals and transported them to a medical facility.

"In total, as a result of the shelling, 4 people were injured, and 1 person died. Also, 38 private residential houses were damaged," reported the SES.

Massive shelling of Ukraine

On December 29, the Russians carried out the most massive shelling of Ukraine since the start of the full-scale war.

The enemy launched 158 drones and various missiles over Ukraine.

The Ukrainian air defense forces managed to successfully intercept and shoot down 114 aerial targets, including 27 combat UAVs Shahed and 87 cruise missiles X-101/X-555/X-55. As a result of impacts and debris falling in several regions, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population.
