Starlink back online after outage affecting frontline communications

The satellite internet service Starlink, owned by American billionaire Elon Musk, has resumed operation for most users after a brief outage on Monday, September 15, The Guardian reports.
Earlier, a message about technical issues appeared on the Starlink website without providing additional details.
“Starlink is currently experiencing a service outage. Our team is investigating,” the message said. The message has since been removed.
According to the Commander of the UAV Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert Brovdi, callsign Madyar, the Starlink outage affected the entire frontline of the war with Russia, starting at 07:28 local time (04:28 GMT).
“Ukraine’s forces are heavily reliant on SpaceX’s Starlink terminals for battlefield communications and some drone operations. More than 50,000 terminals are currently in operation in Ukraine, according to officials," the media outlet says.
Starlink outages
Earlier this morning, the Starlink service, widely used by Ukrainian forces for coordinating operations and controlling drones, temporarily stopped working across the entire frontline.
Details about the cause of the outage were not disclosed.
Previously, Starlink also experienced a large-scale disruption. At that time, connection problems were observed mainly in the US, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces were also affected.
In addition, Ukraine is among the first countries in the world to launch the Starlink Direct to Cell technology through the national operator Kyivstar.
