Ukraine will receive a new military aid package worth 437 million euros from Spain, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said following his meeting with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.

New aid from Spain

Zelenskyy discussed Russian attacks with Sánchez and announced a new aid package from Spain.

"Throughout all the years of this war, Spain has consistently helped and supported us. And there is a new €437 million military assistance package from Spain. Thank you! We discussed its content and our most pressing defense needs," the president said.

Russian strikes on energy infrastructure

Zelenskyy also spoke about Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, logistics and railways.

"This year, Russia has damaged more of our locomotives than in all the previous years of this war combined. Our power grid and water supply are under constant attack. The situation is difficult, especially in Kyiv, and every step of humanitarian support is also very important," he said.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that Germany planned to provide Ukraine with an additional 100 million euros. The funds will go toward restoring water, energy and transport infrastructure damaged by Russian strikes.

In addition, Germany and the United Kingdom are seeking additional air defense systems for Ukraine. A plan for other partners is expected to be prepared ahead of the Ramstein meeting on November 17.
