Sky News reveals composition of Ukrainian delegation for meeting with US in Saudi Arabia

Ukraine and the US will hold a new meeting in Saudi Arabia next week. The Ukrainian delegation will include, among others, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, Sky News reports.
As an unnamed Ukrainian source told the news agency, in addition to Umerov, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Pavlo Palisa will also take part in the negotiations with the US.
Sky News reports that the schedule has not yet been finalized, but the Ukrainian delegation is expected to depart on the evening of Sunday, March 23, to begin negotiations on Monday, March 24.
Meeting in Saudi Arabia
Today, March 20, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that on March 24, Ukrainian officials will once again meet with their American counterparts in Saudi Arabia. The meeting will take place at the technical team level.
According to the president, on the same day, a meeting between the US and Russia is also scheduled in Saudi Arabia.
Ukrainian officials have previously met with American representatives in Saudi Arabia. Those negotiations lasted about nine hours and included discussions on the possibility of a complete ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia. Ukraine agreed to such a step.
The second meeting will take place after Russia agreed to a partial ceasefire. This involves a 30-day halt in attacks on energy infrastructure. However, the details of this initiative have not yet been discussed.
