Sikorski reveals how he warned Russia against attacking NATO

The head of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that he had directly warned the Russian side about a possible response in the event of aggression. According to him, in conversations with Russians, he emphasized that NATO has more combat aircraft and that the alliance would respond both defensively and offensively, according to an episode of the program Front Sikorskiego.
"I told the Russians, also for the purpose of deterrence, that they should be careful because we have more combat aircraft than you do. So if you do something that no one wants, we will not just sit and not react - we will respond both in defense and in offense," the minister stated.
Sikorski gave an example: Ukraine, according to estimates, has destroyed 30% to 40% of Russia's oil refining capacities, which has already caused logistical difficulties for both the civilian economy of Russia and military logistics.
According to him, if Ukraine was able to achieve this while practically having no combat aviation for operations over Russian territory, then NATO air forces are capable of much more.
The minister called strikes on oil refining facilities not only legally permissible from the point of view of international law but also psychologically effective - unlike terror against the civilian population, which, according to him, historically leads to the opposite effect: instead of a drop in morale, society only unites.
Earlier, Sikorski had already reacted to Kremlin threats to destroy Poland "in 2-3 days" - according to him, Russia would have a significant advantage in the event of a war with Poland, but it is unlikely that it would be able to apply it.
Russian diplomat Sergey Lavrov publicly threatened Europe with a very short war with Russia.
