Currently, there is no talk of blackouts in Ukraine, but the further situation depends on the plans of the Russian Federation, says Svitlana Hrynchuk, Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine.

Hrynchuk emphasized that Ukraine is currently able to balance the system and ensure its stable operation.

"But we don't know the enemy's plans, what further attacks will be, what the consequences will be. Unfortunately, it depends not on us, but on the enemy's plans," the Deputy Energy Minister said.

Russian attacks on the energy sector

Russian terrorists have recently intensified their attacks against Ukraine. The enemy is actively using drones and missiles of various types. For example, on the night of March 22 alone, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 151 air weapons. At the same time, the enemy shelled energy facilities, which resulted in emergency blackouts in a number of cities.

In particular, on March 29, the enemy launched 60 kamikaze drones and 39 missiles, which were also aimed at Ukraine's energy sector. Terrorists attacked three thermal power plants, causing serious damage to equipment.

Today, Ukrenergo has instructed operators to apply blackout schedules in several regions of Ukraine.
