The participants of the Ramstein-19 discussed increasing the production of artillery shells in Europe. The meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defense took place on February 14, according to Illarion Pavliuk, head of the Press and Information Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

"This time, we paid special attention to discussing the increase in the production of artillery shells and weapons in general in Europe. This is very important because when we have a war of this magnitude on the European continent, we cannot do without strengthening our production," he says.

Pavliuk adds that Russia is also increasing its weapons production in times of war. However, the combined economy of the partner countries and participants in Ramstein is larger than Russia's.

According to the Defense Ministry spokesperson, the partner countries once again expressed their continued support for Ukraine during a meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defense.
