Today, July 2, Russia likely used its FAB-500 aircraft bombs to shell Kharkiv, according to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office on Telegram.

Law enforcement reminded that Russia struck Kharkiv around 04:00 p.m. The attack targeted the industrial zone in the Nemyshlianskyi and Industrial districts.

As a result of the shelling, there are four casualties. A 51-year-old woman suffered minor physical injuries and an acute stress reaction. A 26-year-old woman sustained hand finger injuries. A 12-year-old girl and her 15-year-old brother have concussions.

"Preliminarily, the enemy again struck the city with two FAB-500 bombs from the territory of the Belgorod region," clarified the prosecutor's office.

A pre-trial investigation has been initiated for violations of laws and customs of war.

Strikes on Kharkiv with FAB-500 bombs

On June 27, Russian troops struck Kharkiv using aerial bombs. The attack resulted in casualties and damage to private property.

Later, the prosecutor's office clarified that the Russian forces used FAB-500 bombs with a guidance and correction module for the first time in the shelling.
