Shelling in Donetsk region
Russian forces consistently shell towns and villages in the Donetsk region as they pursue their objective of reaching the borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Sloviansk remains a frequent target. For instance, on the night of October 31, Russian strikes hit both Kramatorsk and Sloviansk. In Kramatorsk, the attacks focused on the industrial zone, while in Sloviansk, they targeted a plant.
Additionally, at the end of August, Russian forces shelled Sloviansk using cluster munitions.
