Shahed drone attack on Kyiv: Fatality reported, number of injured rises

A person was killed when a Russian attack drone hit a high-rise building in Kyiv's Solomianskyi district. Four of the injured were treated on the spot, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
"One person has died in a building in the Solomianskyi district, according to preliminary information. Four of the injured were treated on the spot," Klitschko wrote.
According to him, the fire in the building has been localized. The rescue operation is ongoing.
Updated at 11:42 PM Kyiv time. There are already five injured in the building in the Solomianskyi district, Klitschko reported. One of them has been hospitalized, and four others received medical assistance on the spot. Preliminary reports indicate that one person has died.
Updated at 11:52 PM Kyiv time. According to operational information from the State Emergency Service, apartments on the 17th to 21st floors were damaged due to enemy shelling. Destruction occurred, followed by a fire on the 16th and 17th floors, as well as fires on the 20th and 21st floors of the 25-story residential building.
The fire was localized at 10:54 PM, covering an area of 200 square meters, and extinguished at 11:21 PM.
Sixty rescuers and 18 units of firefighting equipment were on site.
Two people were rescued from an apartment on the 20th floor and transported to an ambulance. More than 100 individuals were evacuated to fresh air, and four injured persons sought medical help independently with a preliminary diagnosis of acute stress reaction.
Additionally, a woman's body was found in one of the apartments on the 20th floor.
Psychologists are working at the scene, providing psychological assistance to 12 individuals. A mobile Red Cross tent has been set up to assist the victims.
Updated at 00:03 AM Kyiv time. Klitschko reported that the deceased is a girl born in 2009. Five people were injured; four received assistance on-site, and one was hospitalized. A mobile tent has been set up at the scene to provide necessary assistance to residents of the building.
