Shahed attack: Fires broke out in Kyiv due to falling debris, with injuries reported
In Kyiv, debris from drones fell in several districts of the city following an enemy air attack, resulting in fires and injuries, states the City's Mayor, Vitali Klitschko.
According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, debris from a drone caused a fire in a residential building in the Solomianskyi district.
"Several cars are also burning, along with a commercial property," he added.
All emergency services are currently working at the scene.
Later, Mayor Klitschko reported that two people were injured in the Solomyanskyi district and are currently receiving medical assistance.
One of the injured individuals was hospitalized, while the other, a woman, was treated at the scene.
Additionally, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that debris also fell in an open area in the Sviatoshynskyi district.
"The details are being clarified. No information on casualties has been received," reported the administration.
The Kyiv City Military Administration also released photos of the aftermath of last night's drone attack on the capital.

Later, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Popko, reported that the fire in the Solomianskyi district was extinguished following the drone debris fall.
He added that, according to preliminary data, there is a risk of a gas supply system breach, and an emergency gas service team is en route to the scene.
Night Shahed attack by Russia
Earlier, it was reported that on the night of October 29, Russian forces launched kamikaze drones against Ukraine in a new wave of attacks.
Later, it was confirmed that the drone attack was intercepted in the Kyiv region, where air defense systems were actively engaged.
Additionally, an air raid alert was issued in the capital, and explosions were heard as Kyiv’s air defenses were in operation.
