Severe weather in Ukraine: Incredible footage of snowstorm in Kyiv and Odesa
A snowstorm has been raging in Ukraine for the past 24 hours. Due to heavy snowfall and gusty winds, there are kilometer-long traffic jams on intercity roads. Rescuers are extracting people from snow traps, but the weather shows no signs of improvement.
RBC-Ukraine has compiled footage of the storm wreaking havoc in various regions of Ukraine.
Sources used in the preparation of the material: Suspilne Odesa, Telegram channels of Odesa Regional Military Administration, Insider, RBC-Ukraine, and Real Kyiv.
On November 26, an anticyclone with strong winds and snowfall hit Ukraine. Currently, the most challenging situation is in Odesa, with trees and power lines having fallen on the streets.

Armored personnel carriers had to be deployed to clear the roads. However, drivers are still stranded on some highways, unable to move forward.
Additionally, due to the strong wind, a chimney of a boiler house collapsed from a height of 100 meters.
An orange level of danger has been declared in Kyiv. General education schools are operating in a hybrid mode - both offline and online.
Transportation is complicated, special equipment and municipal workers are operating in the city. Residents and visitors are urged to stay at home if possible or avoid using private transport. However, if absolutely necessary, strict adherence to traffic rules is advised.
