Several more children rescued from temporarily occupied territories: Details from Presidential Office

Another group of children has been successfully returned to Ukraine from territories temporarily occupied by the Russian army, Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak announced this on Telegram.
According to Yermak, a 13-year-old girl who was forbidden to speak Ukrainian at school was among those returned. Also brought back was a boy who had been taken to Russia, but his mother managed to retrieve him despite numerous obstacles.
In addition, a teenager who had become withdrawn due to pressure and propaganda was returned, as well as a child who was so afraid that they didn’t even dare mention the name of their country.
"Today, all of them are safe, with their loved ones, on free land," Yermak wrote.
Return of children from the occupation
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has been deporting Ukrainian children from temporarily occupied territories.
In particular, we reported that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) established the circumstances, detailed routes, and all those involved in the deportation of two young children from Ukraine to Russia, as well as the forced relocation of another 46 children to temporarily occupied Crimea.
The deportation of Ukrainian children was the reason the International Criminal Court in The Hague issued arrest warrants for Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russia’s Commissioner for Children’s Rights, Maria Lvova-Belova.
