In Sevastopol, temporarily occupied Crimea, a powerful explosion resonated on the morning of December 30. The occupying "authorities" are complaining about an attack by a maritime drone, reports Telegram channel Krym.Realii.

The explosion occurred around 8:44 Kyiv time.

"The blast in the central part of Sevastopol caused windows to tremble. Currently, the Russian authorities and the RF military have not commented on the situation," the publication reports.

It's worth noting that official representatives or the military command of Ukraine have not commented on the situation in any way so far.

Complaints about the maritime drone

According to the so-called governor of the temporary occupation "authority" of Russia in Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, terrorists allegedly repelled an attempt to attack an aerial drone.

"According to information from the military, about three kilometers from Sevastopol Bay in the open sea, a UAV was destroyed from helicopters," Razvozhaev writes.

The situation in Crimea

Overall, explosions are increasingly heard in Crimea. Our defenders have conducted dozens of operations on the peninsula and in the Black Sea, destroying Russian bases, warehouses, and ships.

For example, a series of explosions were recently heard on December 28 near Kozacha Bay in Sevastopol. Explosions were also heard before this in the Crimean city of Krasnoperekopsk.
