On August 12, drones of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) attacked a storage terminal for Shahed kamikaze drones in Tatarstan, according to the SBU’s Telegram channel.

As noted by the SBU, long-range drones from the A Special Operations Center were used in the attack. In the logistics hub that was struck, the Russian forces store ready-to-use Shahed drones, as well as foreign components for them.

This facility is located in the settlement of Kzyl-Yul, about 1,300 kilometers from Ukraine.

The SBU emphasized that videos recorded by local residents confirm the successful strike on the hub. Fires were observed inside the buildings.

This attack is intended to reduce the enemy’s capability to carry out Shahed terror attacks against Ukraine.

"Operations targeting enterprises that supply the Russian military machine with weapons will continue," the Security Service assured.

First strike

On August 9, the Security Service of Ukraine reported that their drones hit a storage facility with Shahed drones in Tatarstan.

After the attack, a fire broke out at the warehouse — one of the drones struck the target directly.

The SBU emphasized that such a terminal is a legitimate military target for Ukraine.
