According to him, the package includes:
- IRIS-T air defense system;
- Skynex air defense system;
- Gepard anti-aircraft guns;
- self-propelled artillery systems;
- armored vehicles
- combat drones;
- radars;
- ammunition.
Scholz assured that Germany would continue to support Ukraine next year. To this end, the budget includes €4 billion for direct bilateral military assistance.

A few days ago, the head of the Bundeswehr's Situation Center Ukraine at the German Ministry of Defense, Major General Christian Freuding, said that the Bundestag had allocated another €400 million to help Ukraine in 2024.
According to Freuding, this decision will allow Ukraine to receive €1.4 billion worth of weapons by the end of the year.
