German Chancellor Olaf Scholz personally called on Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to stop the war and withdraw troops from Ukraine, reports Barron's.

The German Chancellor shared the outcomes of today's virtual G20 summit.

"I called on President Putin to end his attack on Ukraine and withdraw troops from Ukraine's territory, so that this war can finally end," stated the German government.

Putin's cynical statements

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin today, on November 22, participated for the first time in an online G20 meeting since the start of the full-scale war against Ukraine.

Putin made a series of cynical remarks about Ukraine. Particularly, the Kremlin leader claimed that his country was allegedly ready for peaceful negotiations, while stating that "the Ukrainian authorities do not want dialogue."

The dictator also mentioned the need to think about how to end this tragedy. Additionally, he compared the Revolution of Dignity to the "destruction of the population" in Palestine.
